Church Relations Committee

 

The mission of Church Relations is to undergird and support the Pastor’s overall vision and mission of Rutland Baptist through relationships with church ministries and church Leadership.

Church Relations will build, implement, and maintain relationships with church auxiliaries representing the vision of the Pastor.  

The staff of the Church Relations serves as a liaison between the Pastor and the congregation, responsive to the Pastor’s needs and spiritual goals. Our purpose includes outreach and service through ministry teams and the church Leadership. We also strive to be a resource center with the purpose of making our ministry be the most successful that it can be.

Whether it’s the pastor, church leadership or congregation, we are there to service in any way we can.

These efforts break down into basic channels of activity:

• Develop long-term relationship with pastor and other church leaders through personal interaction and involvement.

• Developing and sponsoring events aimed at serving the Pastor and God.

• Serve as primary point person responsible for regular communication, education, program involvement with church auxiliaries.

• Develop and present funding proposals to church leaders and to the congregation for committing financial contributions to the ministry.

• Working with and giving oversight to new members.

• Cultivating relationships and cooperating in ministry to advance the gospel.

• Offer resources to church leaders and the congregation.
